Tramaine Gibson

Let's pray a prayer of mourning for the tragic ending of Tramaine Gibson's life on earth, and that his family and loved ones will be comforted with a hope against all hope:

Mercy and Justice

Father, receive your son, Tramaine back to the place from which you created
and fashioned him. You saw him in his mother's womb as you knit him together in your love. May he find peace at last in the center of your heart
on the banks of the river of life in heaven.

Lord, send your mercy; send your justice

Jesus, we look to your suffering and death to reconcile the sadness
of this tender shoot cut down before his time. Cause the gift of
Tramaine's life to continue to bear fruit so that even his
senseless death will produce resurrection life in others.

Lord, send your mercy; send your justice

Holy Spirit, send forth the power of your comfort to
those loved ones Tramaine has left behind. Be present
in their mourning and may they sense Your tears
flowing in their own. 

Lord, send your mercy; send your justice

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: We look to you and your Kingdom
of mercy and justice. We trust you when you say, "Vengeance
is mine." We look to the judge of the earth to do right.
We say: Let Your Kingdom come, Lord.
