Prayer for those devastated by the tsunami in Asia:

Let us cry out to the Lord who wept over Jerusalem and weeps over Asia now:

Father of the human family, receive with mercy those whose lives ended under the wave of destruction. They never made it home-may they find a home with You-                                        
Lord, heal the afflicted

Jesus Christ, send your saving healing to those thousands in mourning over their lost family and friends. May their deep wounds find meaning in your wounds so that by them they may be healed-

  Lord, heal the afflicted

Spirit of God, send your ministering angels and saints to spread the salve of Your comfort over devastated communities. May they work tirelessly and miraculously-
