Jesus, man of sorrows, bring your salvation.

Let's pray to the Lord (that he may forgive us of our apathy)

God of the Living:

A woman has died of hunger and thirst at the hands of false-hearted judges. Receive her, restore her to ancient beauty and original innocence, and may she be reunited with her loved ones in the fullness of your Kingdom. Send your Spirit to comfort her family. Let them feel the fellowship of millions who mourn with them. Move in the hearts of those who see her death as the only good.

You are the Resurrection and the Life--make our hearts a culture of life.

Lord, justice has failed in our land--evil doers rule the day. The helpless have no voice--let our prayer, added to the millions of prayers around the world and in heaven, be Terri's voice. Let it be the voice for those innocent ones who are murdered in the name of "choice."

You are the Resurrection and the Life--make our homes a culture of life.

Lord, forgive each of us when we participate in, fund, or ignore the culture of death that has shrouded the world. You are the God of the living--breathe on your church and make her a living and life-giving fountain in the midst of the nations.

You are the Resurrection and the Life--make our nation a culture of life.
