Patio project complete!

This is a fun and inexpensive way of creating a patio, or walkway.  This patio was made completely from cement, with the use of plastic cement forms.  Cement poured into the forms, stained, then sealed, create the look of stones embedded into cement. As you may know Flagstones or pre-fabricated Cement stones can be costly!

Cement was used to fill the plastic forms.  Another advantage toward using pre-fabricated plastic forms is the elimination of creating or building wooden forms. We all know that can be time consuming! Below is an example of a stone created from the plastic cement form.

Ferrous Sulfate Heptahydrate was used as a cement stain.  When combined with water in a spray bottle it created a spray on stain for the cement. A cement sealer was then used once the cement stones were stained.
