A Diary by Robin Mattingly
Desert diary from Monday, April 18, 2005

A couple of days ago, I had this vision:

I was lying on my bedroom floor starving, dying, wearing ripped up rags. Jesus comes to me on a horse, picks me up and puts me on it, sitting in front of him while he holds me on. We arrive at a place, I don't know where, but it’s all purple. It looks almost like the inside of a tent. The walls are like draped curtains, and the floor is covered with cushions. He carries me in there and sits on the floor, on these cushions, and drapes me across his lap, cradles me like a baby, and I'm still extremely weak, and starts feeding me something that looks like chocolate. I was thinking maybe it was honeycomb. And he fed me several of these not just one. Then he strips the rags off me and puts me in this elaborate gown, thought I really didn't see what it looked like. I could sense a lot of love in this picture, also determination. Maybe the purple place is the holy of holies, or perhaps the Father’s heart.

I believe this was meant for me personally, but I think it can be for the body as well, since we are all one, and there is the corporate bride as well as the individual bride.
