Forgiving God to Thank Him

When we enter into any measure of honesty with God (and it seems so few of us even attempt this), we often have to forgive him. Forgive him for what? For making us. Then, as we breathe the air of this authenticity, our forgiveness is transformed into an intense gratitude in which we cry with the soul of the Psalmist: “I thank you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made!”
